Sunday, June 16, 2002 (Evening Assembly)
Missouri Governor Bob Holden will deliver the keynote
address at the special assembly in Hendricks Hall on Sunday evening.
Governor Holden, a long time member of the Boys State staff, will
hold a question and answer session following his address. |

LOUIS RAMS DEFENSIVE END GRANT WISTROM
Monday, June 17, 2002 (Evening Assembly)
St. Louis Rams Defensive End Grant Wistrom from
the NFC Champion St. Louis Rams will speak to Boys State participants
at the general assembly in Hendricks Hall on Monday night. Mr. Wistrom
will discuss the Rams experience in last year's Super Bowl and the
prospects for the upcoming season. Following his prepared remarks
there will be a question and answer session. |

ATTORNEY GENERAL JAY NIXON
Tuesday, June 18, 2002 (Afternoon Assembly)
Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon will deliver
the keynote address at a special assembly on Tuesday afternoon in
Hendricks Hall. Attorney General Nixon will hold a question and
answer session following his prepared remarks. |

Tuesday, June 18, 2002 (Evening Assembly)
The 14th Annual George W. Lehr Memorial Speakers
Chair will be the former U.S. Senator from New Jersey and former
Presidential Candidate Bill Bradley. Senator Bradley will deliver
the keynote address on Tuesday evening. Following his keynote address
the Senator will hold a brief question and answer session. |

SECRETARY OF STATE MATT BLUNT
Thursday, June 20, 2002 (Afternoon Assembly)
Missouri Secretary of State Matt Blunt will announce
and certify the statewide election results and address the citizens
at the Boys State general assembly in the CMSU Multipurpose Building.
Secretary of State Blunt will also take part in the Boys State group
photo session at the Multipurpose Building. |

JUDGE MISSOURI WESTERN DISTRICT
NANETTE K. LAUGHREY
Thursday, June 20, 2002 (Evening Assembly)
Federal Judge for Missouri's Western District Nanette
K. Laughrey will deliver the keynote address and swear-in the newly
elected state officials at the Joint Session of the Boys State House
and Senate on Thursday evening at Hendricks Hall. Judge Laughrey
was appointed to the Federal Bench in 1996 by President Clinton. |

GENERAL GERALD MINETTI
Friday, June 21, 2002 (Evening Assembly)
Brigadier General Gerald Minetti from the United
States Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base Florida will provide
a detailed briefing on the military activity in Afghanistan and
the War on Terrorism at a special assembly in Hendricks Hall. General
Minetti will hold a question and answer session following his address. |
